If your dog pulls during neighborhood walks, barks at other dogs, ignores commands around distractions, or struggles with reliable obedience, these challenges can make everyday life more difficult.
Off Leash K9 Training 30A offers private obedience lessons, Board & Train, puppy training, Basic Marker Mastery™, Therapy Dog Preparation, aggression and reactivity training, and location-dependent in-home options for Point Washington and the surrounding Scenic 30A area.

The current site states that if you are not satisfied with your first lesson, that lesson is free.

Applicable Board & Train programs include free refresher training after completion.

The current team includes owner Ciarra Elle and trainers Monica Green, Jennifer "Jen" Baier, Allie, and Logan.

The site includes client experiences from private lessons and Board & Train programs.

Off Leash K9 Training 30A operates from Santa Rosa Beach and serves the surrounding 30A area.
Board & Train programs currently run for two or three weeks, depending on the selected package.
Dogs stay with a professional trainer and receive structured training based on that program’s curriculum.
Community K9 (2-week): Primarily an on-leash program with mid-level distractions. Current program information includes seven commands, on-leash Heel, full off-leash recall, and greeting, door, and meal manners.
Urban K9 (2-week): An on-leash program designed for high-distraction environments. Current program information includes six commands along with greeting, door, and meal manners.
ExpeditePro™ (2-week): Provides expedited scheduling with a choice of the Community K9 or Urban K9 curriculum and an equipment bundle that includes an e-collar, treat pouch, place cot, and slip lead.
3-Week Board & Train: The broader off-leash program includes off-leash commands, work around multiple distractions and environments, practical manners, and a choice of advanced commands.
Applicable programs conclude with a two-hour owner handoff covering the dog’s commands and proper handling. Current Board & Train information also includes refresher support after completion.
Private lessons allow owners to participate directly and continue practicing skills between appointments.
Basic Obedience: Five private lessons covering Come, Sit and Extended Sit, Down and Extended Down, Place and Extended Place, loose-leash Heel, and Off. The program includes an e-collar and 15-foot leash.
Basic & Advanced Obedience: Nine private lessons that build on foundational obedience with extended-distance work and additional advanced commands.
In-Home Training: In-home Basic and Basic & Advanced options are listed, with availability based on location. Point Washington owners should confirm the current format and availability during consultation.
Owner practice and consistent follow-through remain important after lessons. Equipment and methods vary depending on the selected program.
Some dogs struggle with barking, lunging, pulling, or other reactive behavior when another dog appears.
Dog Aggression & Reactivity Training: The current nine-week, nine-lesson program is specifically designed for dogs displaying aggression or reactivity around other dogs.
It combines Basic Obedience with additional lessons working with the owner and dog around other dogs in different scenarios and includes desensitization. The current package also includes an e-collar and 15-foot leash.
Complete fixes for major dog or people aggression cannot be guaranteed.
If your dog’s concerns involve people-directed aggression, resource guarding, visitors, or another concern outside the published dog-to-dog scope, discuss the situation during the free consultation so the team can explain whether an available program may be appropriate.
Early puppy training can help owners establish routines, communication, and appropriate household behavior.
Puppy Training Consultation: The current program is designed for puppies under five months and focuses on early foundations such as socialization, crate training, home manners, and house-training guidance.
An online puppy course is also listed with 24 video modules, eight worksheets, and approximately three hours of training content covering puppy foundations and common challenges.
Puppy training should be viewed as foundation work rather than a guarantee that future behavior problems, fear, or reactivity will be prevented.
Point Washington’s wooded setting, local roads, nearby State Forest, and proximity to the bay create a variety of everyday distractions.
Depending on where owners walk and spend time with their dogs, those distractions may include cyclists, hikers, wildlife scents, vehicles, people, and other dogs.

Call (850) 616-2800 or email [email protected] to discuss your dog's needs and goals. The team will help you explore a suitable training program.

Board & Train lasts two or three weeks. Private and in-home lessons involve the owner, while training methods and equipment vary by program.
