If your dog pulls during walks, barks at other dogs, jumps on guests, or ignores commands around everyday distractions, these challenges can make daily routines more difficult.
Off Leash K9 Training 30A serves the Eglin AFB and surrounding Emerald Coast area with private obedience lessons, Board & Train, puppy training, Basic Marker Mastery™, Therapy Dog Preparation, specialized dog-to-dog aggression and reactivity training, and location-dependent in-home options.

Off Leash K9 Training operates locations throughout the United States, while Off Leash K9 Training 30A serves the Scenic 30A and surrounding Emerald Coast area.

The current site states that if you are not satisfied with your first lesson, that lesson is free.

Applicable Board & Train programs include free refresher training after completion.

Owner and lead trainer Ciarra Elle works alongside Monica Green, Jennifer "Jen" Baier, Allie, and Logan.

Off Leash K9 Training 30A operates from Santa Rosa Beach and lists Eglin AFB within its current service area.
Current Board & Train programs run for two or three weeks.
Dogs stay with professional trainers and follow the curriculum of the selected package. The dedicated Board & Train program states that dogs live in their trainer’s home, trainers intentionally work with only two to three Board & Train dogs at a time, and owners receive daily photo and video updates.
Community K9 (2-week): Primarily an on-leash program with mid-level distractions. It includes seven listed commands, on-leash Heel, full off-leash recall, and greeting, door, and meal manners.
Urban K9 (2-week): An on-leash program designed for high-level distractions. It includes six listed commands along with greeting, door, and meal manners.
ExpeditePro™ (2-week): Provides expedited scheduling with a choice of the Community K9 or Urban K9 curriculum. The equipment bundle includes an e-collar, treat pouch, place cot, and slip lead.
3-Week Board & Train: Provides the broader off-leash curriculum, including obedience around multiple distractions and environments, Load Up, practical manners, and two owner-selected advanced commands.
Applicable Board & Train programs conclude with a two-hour owner handoff and include refresher support after completion.
Private lessons allow owners to participate directly in their dog’s training and continue practicing skills between appointments.
Basic Obedience: Five private lessons covering Come, Sit and Extended Sit, Down and Extended Down, Place and Extended Place, loose-leash Heel, and Off. The package includes an e-collar and 15-foot leash.
Basic & Advanced Obedience: Nine private lessons that build on the foundational curriculum with additional advanced commands and extended-distance work.
In-Home Training: In-Home Basic and In-Home Basic & Advanced options are listed for select locations. Eglin-area owners should confirm the current program format and availability directly.
Dog Aggression & Reactivity Training is a nine-week, nine-lesson program specifically designed for dogs displaying aggression or reactivity around other dogs.
It combines Basic Obedience with additional lessons working with the owner and dog around other dogs in different scenarios and includes desensitization.
Complete fixes for major dog or people aggression cannot be guaranteed.
If your dog’s concerns involve people-directed aggression, resource guarding, or another issue outside the published dog-to-dog focus, discuss the behavior during consultation so the team can explain whether an available program may be appropriate.
The Puppy Training Consultation is designed for puppies under five months.
It focuses on early foundations such as socialization, crate training, home manners, and house-training guidance.
An online puppy course is also listed with 24 video modules, eight worksheets, and approximately three hours of training content covering puppy foundations and common challenges.
Puppy training should be treated as foundation work rather than a guarantee that future behavior problems will be prevented.
Basic Marker Mastery™ is a four-session positive-reinforcement program using markers and clicker training.
It introduces Come, Sit, Place, slip-lead handling, and loose-leash walking.
A 15-foot leash, clicker, and slip lead are included, and the program does not use e-collars or prong collars.
Therapy Dog Preparation is an eight-week, eight-lesson course designed to prepare dogs and handlers for therapy-dog testing and certification.
After successful completion, qualifying teams may be evaluated and certified through Therapy Pets Unlimited.
Completion of the course does not automatically guarantee qualification, and therapy-dog requirements vary by organization.
Dog owners near Eglin AFB may need training that works beyond the home, especially around traffic, other dogs, visitors, public activity, and changing daily routines.

Call (850) 616-2800 or email [email protected] to discuss your dog’s age, behavior, training history and goals, then compare available programs with staff.

Training follows the selected program. Board & Train includes trainer care and daily updates, while private and in-home lessons include owner support.

Board & Train ends with owner handoff and refresher support. Private lessons include direct coaching, while continued practice reinforces core skills.
